About The Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern will collect and analyze all data related to operations, sales, marketing, and finance.  The Intern will be responsible for maintaining and help with delivery of all current reports, as well as the creation of new reports.

 

As an intern working with the Optimization team, your role will focus on assisting by performing the following projects:

  • Financial and analytical reporting to support business processes and financial decisions
  • Break the data down into actionable, data driven insights for a variety of stakeholders

Qualifications

Education:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Analytics, BI Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics

Experience:

  • GPA  of 3.0
  • Junior/Senior level           
  • Energy, enthusiasm and initiative are key qualities
  • Keen attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills are necessary
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team coordinating multiple tasks
  • Assimilate corporate administrative procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in Analytics & Data Mining
  • Interest in Web Technology
  • Organize and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of quantitative analytics and eComm KPI's a plus
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, and must have the aptitude to utilize more statistics-based programs
  • Experience with R, SAS, Tableau, SQL or other database tools and languages to assemble and manipulate data preferred
  • Experience in conducting analyses that result in data-driven recommendations and opportunities that solve business problems ideally in management consulting disciplines a plus
